AL CLARK

Al is one of the industry's most sought-after automotive directors in the automotive film world. For over 15 years, he has made cars look fast, loud, and beautiful across commercials, cinema, and television. He started his professional film career around the birth of the Canon 5D MkII era,  filming and editing motorsport and drifting documentaries before being picked up by OEMs to shoot commercial work, and the rest is history.

A lifelong car enthusiast, he brings an instinctive understanding of vehicles—whether it’s a hypercar at full tilt or the latest cutting-edge luxury - paired with hands-on experience and a practical and calm problem-solving approach to every shoot. ​

Over the years, Al has been responsible for some stand-out automotive projects - filming car to car at 267mph+, directing gun-filled car chases across the ice, and more considered documentary work with The Racers That Stopped the World with the late Sir Stirling Moss, released on Sky Documentaries.

Having filmed in some of the most challenging environments on earth, working with incredible cars and amazing people, Al is now expanding beyond the real world of his automotive expertise to the world of CGI through a new animation studio, FUZE, who specialise in Unreal Engine automotive film for OEMs.
